    Business units

    SETUP -> Business units

    The heirarchy of business units represents your organisation structure.

    • Description
    • Code - optional.
    • Level of detail - may be used on reports to roll up values for units with a greater level of detail than is desired for the report. 1 = highest level, 2 = next level, etc.
    • Parent - the parent or higher level group business unit.
    • Requires split? - when entering invoices in FINANCIAL -> Payables, if you tick this field, you can split the invoice amount for this business unit to specific product using various criteria.
    • Active? - untick if no longer used which will hide in lookup lists.
    Tip

    The order up business units (within their parent) can be changed using the up/down arrows in the list.
