SETUP -> Business units
The heirarchy of business units represents your organisation structure.
DescriptionCode- optional.Level of detail- may be used on reports to roll up values for units with a greater level of detail than is desired for the report. 1 = highest level, 2 = next level, etc.Parent- the parent or higher level group business unit.Requires split?- when entering invoices inFINANCIAL -> Payables, if you tick this field, you can split the invoice amount for this business unit to specific product using various criteria.Active?- untick if no longer used which will hide in lookup lists.
Tip
The order up business units (within their parent) can be changed using the up/down arrows in the list.
